CLOSINGS & OPENINGS

Acting, Stage Work on October 19th, 2010 No Comments

CLOSED

Late last week Old Gem Theater’s “Johnny Appleseed” closed after four weeks of very fun, informative, and tasty performances! It was an honor to get to work with such a talented and playful cast!

After our last performance the entire production went to Aamodt’s Apple Farm! Big thanks to Kathy, Tom, Rita, and Ashley — you certainly helped make this an amazing fall!

Stages Theatre Company’s “The Frog Prince” opened on Friday and audiences couldn’t be more pumped! The reactions from the kids in the audience during the show are absolutely priceless!

Minn Local published a story on the unique ‘Frog Prince’ production where director Cassandra Proball helps explain why kids are loving this show:

…the action of the play is fast-paced and quirky in a way reminiscent of Saturday morning cartoons…

    Cartoons, folks! CARTOONS!

After the opening night performance Jennifer Kirkeby, the show’s playwright, said I am “perfect for the role!”

What role? The eccentric costumer and science teacher, of course!

To purchase tickets, go online to stagestheatre.org or call the box office at 952-979-1111. Adult tickets are $15 and youth/senior tickets are $12, as well as discounted lap passes for children 4 years and younger.

Hope to see you in the audience soon! “The Frog Prince” runs through November 7th.
