“Me Hereafter,” an all-new true crime series from ABC News Studios, drops this week. The show has four episodes. All episodes are available on Thursday, February 29, on Hulu.

I play Dan O’Connell. Dan was real person. The community knew and loved him. He was well known for his work as a funeral director and paramedic.

On February 5, 2002, Dan was shot and killed inside his funeral home in Hudson, Wisconsin. The murderer remained at large for three years.

Speaking of the murderer… “Me Hereafter” reunited me with Mackenzie (“Mac”) Rasmus. The last time we worked together was in 2010 at Stages Theatre Company in “The Outsiders.” At the time Mac was in high school. It was such a trip to work professionally with Mac again!
