Backstory
Nine years ago my first audition back in America was for a pilot program called The Remember Project which would use theatre to start a conversation with the audience after the show. Pretty cool idea, right?
I was cast.
In the fall of 2015 we toured piloting The Remember Project through the Saint Croix Valley crisscrossing the Minnesota/Wisconsin border. (Reflections.)
Then we toured again in 2018 and 2019.
I love this project and the artists making the work and the audiences who share their stories.
Which is why I’m so excited to share…
This Saturday
On Saturday, January 27, The Remember Project and I are teaming up again for a short play called Fortune Cookies.

In partnership with Volunteers of America: Culturally Responsive & Caregiver Support, Jewish Family & Children’s Services, SEWA-AIFW, Friends & Co., and First Universalist Church, these events are designed to build a bridge to conversation about dementia, brain health, and social isolation.
Together we will continue to raise awareness and fight the stigma of memory loss and social isolation, reducing barriers to connection.
